Data Deletion Request Policy

Under the Republic of Moldova’s Law No. 195/2024 on the protection of personal data (in force since 23 August 2026 and aligned with the EU GDPR), the GDPR for EU visitors, and platform policies (including Facebook), you have the right to erasure («right to be forgotten») of personal data we hold about you. The controller is Platonov Igor, mun. Chișinău, Republic of Moldova.

How to Request Deletion

There is no automatic deletion option on the site, so please send your request by email:

  1. Email us

    Subject: Data Deletion Request

  2. Include in your email

    • A clear request for deletion
    • The identifiers we may hold (for example, the name or nickname and email address you used for comments or messages)
    • Any platform you used to reach us (for example, Facebook)

Verification and Processing

  • We may ask for limited extra information to confirm the request comes from you. We use it only for verification.
  • Once the request is verified, we delete your data from our active systems. Backups are overwritten in their normal rotation cycle.
  • We also ask the service providers who process data on our behalf to delete it, where applicable.
  • You will receive a confirmation email when deletion is complete.

What You Can Expect

  • Deadline: we respond within one month of receiving your request. For complex requests we may extend this by two more months, and if so we tell you within the first month.
  • Free of charge: requests cost nothing. Requests that are clearly unfounded or excessive may be refused, with an explanation.
  • Exceptions: we keep data only where the law requires it (for example, records of consent or a legal claim). If so, we tell you what was kept and why.
  • Cookie data: you can withdraw cookie consent at any time via the «Cookie Settings» link in our footer and delete cookies in your browser.

You can lodge a complaint with the National Center for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Moldova (CNPDCP), 48 Serghei Lazo St., MD-2004 Chișinău, phone (022) 820 801, centru@datepersonale.md, datepersonale.md. EU visitors can also contact their national supervisory authority.
